Erasing People
Project Overview
"Erasing People" is a feature-length documentary by director Vy Nguyễn Anh Phong, completed in 2022. The film presents diverse perspectives on the lives of the Pakoh people in Vietnam.
Dương joined the project when director Vy expressed a desire to depict oral folktales through animation. These animated segments were illustrated by artist Linh Rab, based on careful research into Pakoh culture and daily life. The animation brings to life fragments of memory and imagination — layers of what lies hidden in the Pakoh consciousness.
The film is currently awaiting its premiere.
